  • Reconcile ledger accounts with invoices and payments
  • Operate multiple systems to search for the relevant data in order to perform your role efficiently and high-level of accuracy
  • Prepare tax declarations and reports
  • Handling VAT and tax return
  • Assisting in general ledger accounting and balancing of company books
  • Working closely with the other departments on any accounting topics and tasks


  • Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes
  • Good knowledge of ¬†Belgium GAAP & IFRS methodologies
  • Proficiency with the VAT and tax procedures in Belgium (knowledge of Benelux & DACH procedures is a plus)
  • Pro-active attitude with a natural drive to deliver results and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate the accountancy language
  • Competency in MS Office (especially Excel), databases and accounting software
